Regional Sales Manager

North | Full Time - Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

Job Description

We are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Regional Sales Manager. You’ll be responsible for developing relationships with both new and existing customers, selling fleet products and services, specialising in trucks and trailers.

This role would suit a skilled B2B sales executive, not necessarily in the automotive industry, who has a sharp eye for business opportunities, great communication and influencing skills and a natural sales ability.

Could this be the ideal role for me?

  • Manage and close existing deals while cultivating new opportunities
  • Ensure long term relationships are built and maintained at all levels across customer base
  • Listen well, influence & persuade
  • Offering tailored finance products – mainly contract hire
  • Confidently build rapport with customers to identify and establish their needs, and pro-actively promote suitable vehicle features and benefits
  • Provide the highest levels of customer service – understanding the importance of repeat business
  • Provide the sales director with regular sales pipelines / diary

 

Essential Skills:

  • Previous business to business sales experience.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Fantastic communication skills and telephone manner.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
  • The ability to work independently.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach.
  • A true desire to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment
  • A full UK driving licence.

 

Nice to have:

  • A good knowledge of the local area.
  • Sound knowledge of finance – specifically contract hire
  • Previous experience selling within a B2B environment
  • Preferably some experience within the commercial vehicle sector
